Associates are men and women, married and single, who choose to share in the life and mission of the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor. They do this in various countries and in a variety of ways.

We have Associates in Brazil, Italy, Senegal and in the United States. All live that same charism and carry it to so many people and places!

Many people have been Associates with the Franciscan Sisters of the Poor since this relationship began in 1981. Some serve directly with the Sisters in ministry, while others carry the charism into the world in a variety of ways, as the Lord calls them.
