am : getting to know each other meeting and visit to the Mother House in Aachen

pm : visit to the city of Aachen. Presentation of Germany cultural background today and in Mother Frances' times. Visit to Mother Frances' family arch. Liturgy and prayer at Mother Frances' tomb.

evening : free.

 

Saturday, 13
“On the footsteps of Mother Frances”

am:

•  Church of St. Paul: renewal of baptismal promises.

•  Church of St. Nicholas: the tenets of Franciscan life.

pm:

•  Visit to Lindenplatz and city arch: Mother Frances' charism.

evening:

•  Celebration among us: each country presents something.

 

Sunday, 14

am: free

From 12noon: program prepared by the Diocese for all the youth in Aachen.

12 noon lunch

•  3 pm: meeting with Aachen Bishop, His Eminence Mons. H. Mussinghoff

•  5 pm: concluding Liturgy

GOODBYE CELEBRATION



Monday, 15

am : travel to Cologne, in Königsdorf

(From this moment on, we will try to follow what has been planned by the WYD International Organization. There is a special program for Franciscan youth and other ecclesial and ecumenical movements).

 

Tuesday, 16

am : Catechesis, by language groups

pm : WYD Beginning Liturgy

 

Wednesday, 17

am : catechesis by language or other program

pm : visit to the city of Cologne, walk along the Rhine.

 

Thurdsay, 18

am : catechesis by language or other program

pm : arrival of the Pope, gathering.

 

Friday, 19

Visit to Bohn

 

Saturday, 20 and Sunday 21

Prayer Vigil and Liturgy with the Pope

21 pm : Travel back to Königsdorf and final meeting among ourselves.
